Vasquez Rocks – Agua Dulce, California
Believe it or not, this trip was my first time ever traveling to California. After traveling all the way from the East Coast, I hopped in my rental car and made the drive from LA to Vasquez Rocks. I had found this location on a Google image search, and man, it did not disappoint. Mae and Benjamin were so trusting – allowing me, someone they had never met before, pick out the location, time, (even their outfits!) for this stunning couples shoot.
After a long day of traveling and feeling jet-lagged, I wasn’t sure if I’d quite be “in the mood” for photos that afternoon. But driving up to Vasquez Rocks and seeing the beautiful, vast desert, I had a renewed sense of energy take over me. That, coupled with meeting Mae and Benjamin for the first time, who are genuinely so sweet, set the scene for one of my absolute favorite shoots.
